Florida Health Insurance

Over 60% of the U.S population receives their health care coverage through an employer sponsored group health insurance plan. However the health insurance regulations vary from state to state but there are some advantages in obtaining heath insurance coverage through an employer using large or small business health insurance plans. Most of the employees accept that health insurance is the most important benefit that is offered to them by their employer. Many U.S companies invest billions of dollars in providing health insurance to their employee, contributing in major revenues that are earned by the health insurance companies.

Due to the group health insurance plans, many Americans are forced to remain employed by a company. This is mostly with the employee who depends on the employer for heath insurance because he may be unable to get individual health insurance due to a pre-existing condition. For the benefit of group health insurance many employees are willing to work for a lesser wage in order to maintain this benefit. Employee can find employment with another company that offer similar health insurance benefits, but due to the waiting periods for pre-existing condition and the risk that will be created in switching health insurance companies are some aspect that they don’t want to switch their job. The two main reasons of employer providing health insurance to their employees is to attract qualified employees and to reduce turn over rates.
